Celebrate VISP

In 2012, the University of Wisconsin–Madison launched the Visiting International Student Program (VISP) as a way for people from around the world to experience the exceptional quality of our university and the beauty of Madison without having to be in a full degree program or part of a direct exchange. Over time we expanded and launched a suite of noncredit programs to complement our credit offerings. To date we’ve hosted more than 3,300 former VISPers from 40 countries through our credit and noncredit offerings.

In recognition of our 10-year anniversary, VISP hosted a four-day celebration where we were joined by program alumni, their guests, current VISP students, UW-Madison faculty, and staff.

We’re looking forward to the next decade of VISP. On, Wisconsin!
